These are some questions we're often asked that you may find useful. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Your tent will be set up for your arrival with high quality sheets and towels. You will find some bathroom products including bath salts so you can sit back and relax in the bath. There is also a breakfast pack and some pantry supplies to get you started. This includes milk, pancake mix, muesli, tea, coffee, jams and of course marshmallows for roasting over the fire.

Check-in at Carinya and Uralla is 2pm, and Check-out is 10am. Check-in at Dulili is 3pm and Check-out is 11am. We are happy to try and accommodate late check-outs and early check-ins depending on availability and cleaning schedules. Please note that additional fees may apply.

We have three beautiful tents for you to choose from. Two of our tents (Carinya and Uralla) can sleep 2 people and Dulili can sleep up to 6. All our tents are isolated in their own private settings and have spectacular views. Please get in touch if you have any questions.

You will find Sierra only 20 minutes from the centre of Mudgee. There are 6kms of dirt road through beautiful country side. It is 2WD accessible and the dirt road is all part of the adventure. Exact details of how to get there are emailed to you before your stay.

Carinya and Uralla are only set up to sleep a maximum of two people with the exception of children under 2. Dulili can sleep up to 6 and we welcome families to bring their kids to get away from city life for a few nights.  Please note that from 2019 Dulili can only sleep up to 4.

Due to the amount of wildlife residing at Sierra it is not suitable for any pets.

We do not allow any camping on the property as our council DA prevents it. There are already several campground facilities in Mudgee. The only form of accommodation we offer are our 3 glamping tents, and are only able to accommodate the amount of people stated on the website.

Absolutely. All tents have BBQs and Uralla and Dulili have kitchens with gas stoves. There are also small 12v fridges to chill your local Mudgee wine and goodies in.

In order to have a minimal footprint on the planet, we have chosen to power the tents using solar power. We have ample power to charge phones (you’ll find USB ports next to the bed), an outlet for charging laptops and cameras, a small fridge, and lighting. Unfortunately there is no facility for hair dryers, straighteners or heaters and attempting to plug one in will trip a breaker cutting off power to the entire tent.

We have a minimum of two nights and three on long weekends. On occasion we can squeeze you in for one night if there is only one night available between two bookings – however there is a surcharge of $100-$200 (depending on the tent) applicable for this, to help cover cleaning and stocking costs etc.
