There are so many things to see and do in beautiful Mudgee, but here are just a few of our favourites.
The region has over 40 stunning wineries each with different varieties characters, and many a furry friend along the way! There many to choose from, but some of our favourites are; Burnbrae, Lowes, Logans, Pieter Van Gent and Di Lusso.
Now with it’s own hatted restaurant, Mudgee is quickly becoming famous for its dining. The Zin House on the Lowe Winery is absolutely to die for, but don’t be suprised at the high quality food you’ll find at Di Lusso, Pipe Clay Pumphouse and Eltons.
Don’t let the name fool you, rhis is a bit of a local’s secret but is an absolutely stunning spot about 1 hour out of Mudgee. Head out to Rylstone and drive down into the Wollemi National Park where you’ll find a fantastic glamping ground overlooking the beautiful swamp.
Fern Tree Gully
Another hidden spot about 1 hour from Mudgee – think a rainforest in the middle of country NSW. It’s a picturesque and serene spot to explore.
There is plenty of history in the Mudgee Region! Be sure to check out the historic villages of Gulgong, Rylstone & Hill End. If you look closely you may still find some gold!
